A close cooperation with customers worldwide, led to a high flexibility and simple operation of the neo X
The neo X is a newly developed horizontal form fill and seal machine from Hugo Beck, which processes PO, PE and PP films and is availabe from Kern now. The central characteristics of the neo X are the helpful co-pilot function, the high availability, the optimal ergonomics and accessibility as well as its easily maintenance capability.
Highlights of the generation X
With the new neo X horizontal form fill and seal machine from Kern, work processes are accelerated considerably. Since this new engine generation was exactly tailored to the customer needs, the neo X distinguishes itself through its high degree of flexibility. Moreover, it is a very space-saving Horizontal form fill and seal machine. The Safety-SPS technology introduced by Hugo Beck eliminates the need to reference the servo drives after an emergency stop or if the machine was stopped otherwise. The neo X can be steered comfortably through the co-pilot, and is therefore very simple to operate.
The neo X can optionally also be steered over a radio remote control and through a modem for remote maintenance.
Moreover, fine adjustments are possible while the machine is in operation.
The neo X does not work in cycle operation, but convinces through its continuous powerful mode of operation. This new Horizontal form fill and seal machine can not only wrap up printed products in a film bag tightly for film overlapping but also for side sealing. This is made possible through a patented film and product transport system. Where others must shrink so that the film is wrapped tightly, it is sufficient for Hugo Beck machines to have the product inserted into a tight bag.
Through this, more efficient results can be obtained in the process of shrinking. A clean packing of particularly flat products, for example cardboard paths and thin booklets, is just as possible as the packing of booklets in rectangular bags without the shrinking process. In principle, the neo X consumes less film during postpress.
The product supplying through the finger chain conveyor provides a more exact product supply and alignment. Individual products can be collected in the stack. The finger chain conveyor can be supplemented with different options.
Containers can also be used, which dispense CD's or DVD's. An enhancement of the finger chain conveyor is also represented through the modular design. Different feeders for dispensing magazines, booklets, booklets, cover sheets and flyers can be connected very easily and placed freely in every position of the product supply process.
With the servo X from Hugo Beck it is possible to introduce products with different distances between them and varying product lengths - individual products or stacked items can be packed. The co-pilot provides a simple setting functionality for the entire machine, through its built-in product data logger. The electromotive height and length adjustment of the transverse welding unit ensures an efficient packing. The servo drives enable a continuous job sequence. The servo X is equipped with a swivelling scrap winding and a control cabinet. Moreover, it offers an improved service and maintainability.
